Louisia Mooneyham 1862 - 1939 Van Alstyne Leader March 9, 1939 P.5 Mrs. Louise Mooneyham, 78, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at her home in Bells after an illness of four weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Cannon Methodist church, between Van Alstyne and Pilot Grove, conducted by the Rev. C. Chumbley of Howe assisted by the Rev. Mr. Starr of Denton. Interment was held in the Cannon cemetery under the direction of Waldo. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Mrs. Mooneyham was born June 9, 1862 in Breeding, Ky., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Rowe. She was married to W. L. Mooneyham Sept. 23, 1880 at Sparksville, Ky. They came to Texas on Aug. 15, 1880 and settled near Whitewright, later moving to Bells in 1919. She was a member of the Cannon Methodist church. Surviving are one son, Jim Mooneyham of this city; one daughter, Mrs. Letha Shaw of Bells; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
