-- Graveside services for Bonnie Odell Adams, 91-year-old homemaker of
Greenville were held Sunday in Cannon Cemetery, near Van Alstyne. She died Thursday at Greenville Rehabilitation Center. The Rev. Mark Moore officiated.
Arrangements were by Peters Funeral Home of Greenville. Mrs. Adams was born in Grayson County, the daughter of Joe Dowdy Powell and Nettie Dixon Powell. On Aug. 10, 1933, she married William Azzie Adams in Grayson County. She was a Methodist. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy Philen of Ben Wheeler, Texas; sister, Opal Reeves of Leonard; nine grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
