Christian-Smith House   125 W. Maple Street The house is located to the left of Earnheart Funeral Home, next to the Kay Kimbell house.
The house was owned by Frank Christian, who was in the harness and buggy business in Whitewright. Later it was purchased by Lee Kirkpatrick, druggist, in 1938. The Whitewright Sun Thursday, June 9, 1938 pg. 2 LOOKING BACK 20 Years Ago (From The Sun, June 7, 1918) Will Simmons has purchased the Lee Kirkpatrick residence and will move to it in the next few weeks. Mr. Kirkpatrick will move to the Frank Christian residence which he purchased several days ago. Later the house was owned by Frank Smith, grocer owner in Whitewright.
