Blevins Cemetery which began in 1875 with the burial of Amanda Ruble Taylor on
family land and her widower, Rev. Isaac Taylor deeded land for the cemetery to
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in 1879. It received a
Texas Historical Marker in a dedication service on October 24, 1993 |

Young Caldwell was the son-in-law of Daniel and Aurillia Bowers. He had been
married to Mattie Bowers Caldwell until her death. She is buried in Bell Co.,
Texas and he is buried at the Blevins Cemetery, Falls Co., Texas. |
