Adamsville Hotel
Adamsville Hotel located at the corner of Ohio 93 and Ohio 208. The building was built in 1836 and at one time was known as the Sturtz House Hotel. In later years it was used as a private residence. It was torn down in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Courtesy of Dug Kreis.

Bell, Rachel Gaumer
Rachel Gaumer Bell, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Sturtz Gaumer. She was born near Gilbert Washington Township, 5 November 1811 and died near Adamsville, 15 January 1913 where she had spent most of her life. She is buried in New Hope Cemetery near Adamsville, Ohio. Her husband was William Bell. Her parents were charter members of the New Hope Lutheran Church in Salem Township. Courtesy of Dug Kreis.

This school was the Adamsville High School from the 1880's until the Salem Adams High School was built to the left of this building in 1924.
