Stone's Block Building
Stone's Block was built around 1882-83 in High Victorian style architecture. From 1883 until 1908 the M.& A. Lebensburger men's clothing store was in business at street level. From about 1910-1919 the Lake Shore Electric Railway had offices and the Interurban Station here. In 1920 Sanduskys first S.S. Kresge Co. five & dime opened. It eventually became a Jupiter's discount store in the mid 1960s until it closed in 1987. Over the years since then it has been home to many different bars and restaurants.
