includes Lewis, Lander County, Nevada, page 52, "My friend, Ed Green, of
Lovelock, was born in this town about 1880 and lived there until young
manhood. He recalls the names of several persons who were buried in the old
cemetery on the hill, but when he and I visited that graveyard in 1955, we
could but dimly make out the name on one wooden grave marker, it was Mabel
Middleton, and he remembered her as a young girl who had died there. We
could not read the dates of birth or death."
