LOGAN, PRIVATE MELVIN L.
Hello,
we are looking for relatives of Private Melvin L. Logan, born 1926
in Haddonfield, Camden County, New Jersey.
He fought in WW II, Company E, 291st Infantry Regiment (75th
Infantry Division), and died in 1945 in Germany.
He is buried at the Ninth United States Army cemetery Margraten # 1,
province Limburg, the Netherlands.
A friend has adopted his grave and likes to get in touch with
relatives of Melvin L. Logan.
Any help would be very welcome.

HOLT, HENRY A. / HOLT, CHARLES H.
We are looking for any information about Henry A Holt, born in N.H.
or Ma. in 1817 who moved to Gloucester City, Camden in abt. 1849 0r
1850 and worked in a mill there. He married Jane Fair, born in
Ireland. and in 1850 they had a son, Charles H. Jane also had a son,
Daniel, who was born in Ireland, and took the last name of Holt. By
the time of the 1860 census, they had moved to Rhode Island. We
desperately need his parentage in order to complete our family tree.
He is a direct descendant of Nicholas Holt, England, 1602, by virtue
of the fact that several of his relatives stayed with him in R. I.
at different times, in the 1860's and 1870's. He died in R. I. in
1874.
