of Haverhill, born in Massachusetts, 12 Oct. 1779; died at Alstead, 9 Oct. 1851, daughter of Joshua and Susannah (Bailey) Webster;
and thirdly, at Marlow, N.H., 7 Apr. 1852, NANCY (TENNEY) RAMSEY, widow of James Ramsey, born at Acworth, N.H., 8 Feb. 1789;
died at Alstead, 21 Oct. 1865, daughter of Amos and Nancy (Chapin) Tenney.

JOHN KIDDER (Samuel4, James3, John2, James1), born at Alstead, NH, 20 Feb. 1781; died in Kentucky about 1823.
He married at Alstead, in Jan. 1806, RACHEL SHEPARD, born 4 Sept. 1779; died at Quincy, Ill., 1 Mar. 1853.
After his marriage John Kidder moved to Crown Point, N.Y., where he resided for some years.
Leaving there, he returned to Alstead for a while, and later in life settled in Kentucky, where he remained until his death.

MAYNARD KIDDER (Samuel4, James3, John2, James1), born at Alstead, NH, 30 Dec. 1785; died at Moriah, NY, 6 Apr. 1856.
He married first, at Surry, NH, 15 Jan. 1811, MARY THOMPSON, born 15 Mar. 1785; died at Moriah, 15 Aug. 1823;
secondly at Moriah, 6 June 1824, FANNIE NICHOLS, died 13 Sept. 1847;
thirdly, 16 Feb. 1848, POLLY BENNETT.
Maynard Kidder went to New York State when a young man. He served as a private in the War of 1812, and took part in the
Battle of Plattsburg, NY, in 1814. He served in Capt. Thomas Winslow's Co. and Capt. Wilcox's Co. of New York Militia.

EZRA KIDDER (James4, James3, John2, James1), born at Alstead, N.H., 29 July 1781; died there 7 Apr. 1847. He married at Uxbridge, Mass.,
9 Sept. 1806, CALISTA TAFT, born there 31 Jan. 1787; died at Alstead, 11 Dec. 1861, daughter of Frederic and Abigail (Wood) Taft.
Ezra Kidder resided at Alstead, N.H., where he was engaged in farming, and where he also carried on a woolen manufactory.
He was Justice of the Peace, served in the New Hampshire State legislature and for two years was a Captain in the Militia.
