District No. 43 (S26, T20N, R1E) - District was set apart on January 20, 1875. "Rosebud School" was formed on June 20, 1875. District was divided in April of 1886, creating a second school (District No. 74). First record of school census was dated November 1, 1884.According to the March 5, 1886 Columbus Democrat, during February there were 27 pupils enrolled with an average daily attendance of 20.
