Will of Henry Younger 1850

Henry Younger of Baltimore County, Dated 26 Oct 1850

In the name of God, Amen, I Henry Younger of Baltimore County in the state of Maryland being in perfect health of body and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time hthereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs do therefore make and publish this my last Will and testament the is to say.

First I commit my Soul to Alighty God and my body to the earth to be decently interred and after my debts are paid I devise and bequeath as follows.

I give and bequeath to my Wife all my personal estate of every kind whatsoever absolutely. I give and bequeath also yo my wife all my real estate for and during her natural life & from and after her death I give and bequeath the same as follows.

First The home place whereon I now reside consisting of eight acres and situate on the new cut road in Baltimore County, I give to my son William her heirs assigns.

Secondly the five Acre of Land adjoining the above and purchased by me from William Roberts I give after the death of my wife aforesaid to my son Henry his heirs and assigns.

Third I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann Lanhart Five Acres f Land on the Liberty Road adjoining the lot of Ellem McMechen C(?)ang one half of the lot which I pourchased of Joseph Jamison the same to her heirs and assigns.

Fourth I give and bequeath the other Five acres of the lot aforesaid purchased from Joseph Jamison to Maria Younger, widow of my son John during her natural life, and after her death to my Grandson Samuel Younger his heirs and assigns.

Fifth, I give and bequeath to my Grand Son George Trowser Son of my daughter Eliza One hundred dollars when he attains his majority to be paid to him by my wife if living and if not living to be charged upon my real estate for his benefit.

Sixth, I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret the sum of One Dollar to be paid to her after the death of my wife.

Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my Wife, Masry, sole executrix of this my last Will and testament revoking and anulling all former wills by heretofore made, ratifying and confirming this an none other to be my last Will and testament, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this twenty sixth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty
