Will of Elizabeth Shinnick 1879

Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth SHINNICK of Baltimore county, Dated 7 March 1879, Proved 27 Jan 1882

I the undersigned Elizabeth Schinnick of Baltimore County twelfth district Sate of Maryland being of sound mind and memory do hereby affirm and declare this to be my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath to my now living two children after my funeral expenses and all other lawful debts are paid and discharged all the rest and residue of my property real as well as personal and mixed which I may own and be possessed of at the time of my death said property to be divided equally among them whom are named respectively. Hannah Bohlew, nee Hannah Schinnick and Rosa Schinnick with the exception of ten dollars which I bequeath to my lawful husband Henry Shinnick to be taken from the property real as well as personal and mixed which I may own or be possessed of at the time of my death. If either of my said children shall before such division have died leaving lawful issue, such issue to receive the mother�s share, but if there be no issue then such share to fall to the remaining daughter.

I constitute and appoint my eldest daughter, Hannah Bohlew nee Hannah Schinnick as sole executor of this my last will and testament and also appoint my daughter Hannah Bohlew nee Schinnick guardian of my minor daughter Rosa. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on this seventh day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine.

Baltimore County S.S. on the 27st day of January 1882 came John B. Randolph and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that he does not know of any other will of codicil of Elizabeth Schinnick late of said county deceased other than the above instrument of writing and that he received the same from Hannah Bohlen on or about the 23rd day of January 1882 sworn in open court.
