Last Will and Testament of Henry KIDD of Baltimore county, Dated 28 April 1847,
First and principally
I am to be buried in the burying ground where I now reside at the discretion of my
executive and after debts and funeral expenses are paid for.
I devise and bequeath as follows-
I will and bequeath to my black man ISAAC ANDERSON a piece, parcel of land, part of a
tract called Stiltzers Deer Park and part of a tract called Marshalls Folly touches
Simon Markey land and part of Marshalls Folly
I also will and bequeath to ISAAC ANDERSON a horse and mare of his choice of any that
may be on the place at my death and 1 cow of his choice, 1 brass mounted burro, his
bedstead furniture that he now sleeps on, the bedstead I purchased from John Wiblem
and the bed and bedding that is currently? on it and the chest that he now uses and
the pine table that is used in my family.
I further will that said boy he? $200 in money as soon after my death as cash can be
collected and as much of my personal property sold and converted into cash.
I further will that said black man ISAAC ANDERSON be freed at my death if not manumitted
before by me.
..if Maryland law does not permit such ownership he is to be moved to Pennsylvania and
given $600...if he marries a free colored woman - if not it goes to his heirs
otherwise to THOMAS TURNER my nephew at Isaac's death.
2 black children JESSEE and MARTHA ELLEN to be freed at my death or when they reach 22 years and each to be given $50.00.
I further will to brother JOHN B. KIDD and brother WILSON KIDD'S son HENRY all the balance of the land to share provided that HENRY S. KIDD pay his father $100 and JOHN B. KIDD pay each?? black child freedom. /P>

Money to Henry and Sara, son and daughter of WILSON and CHRISTINA Kidd and to
THOMAS TURNER and SARA, son and daughter of ANDREW and LYDIA TURNER
Sister ELIZABETH keep the house and garden in which I now reside for 1 year
Isaac to stay one year.
