Will of Richard Hutchins of Baltimore Co., Dated about 1856
In the name of God, Amen be it remebered that I Richard Hutchins of Baltimore County and State of Maryland being at this time of sound mind and understanding consistute this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz:
Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jemima Hutchins all my Estate real and personal during her natural life or widowhood. after her decease I wish it to descend to my three sons and daughter in form and manner following
I give and bequeath to my son John the farm he now lives on the lines running as I have shown them heretofore to him his heirs and assigns forever
And to my son Richard the farm he now lives on the lines running as I hereunto shown them his heirs and assigns foreever.
And to my son William the farm I now live on myself to him his heirs and assigns forever.
And to my daughter Martha L. Johnson I give and bequeath Five Hundred Dollars Two Hundred of it must be paid by my son Richard and three by my son William exclusive of what I have hereunto given her
and my son JOhn. I give and bequeath one negro girl called Betty, and I give to my son Richard 1 negro girl called Sally, And to My son John I will and bequeath one negro boy called Frank.
And all the rest and residue of my personal property equally divided with my three sons namely, John, Richard, and William all what I have heretofore given them thrown in with what I now hold for an equal division and lastly I do bereby consistute amd appoint my son William (if there is any call for an Executor, Executor of this my last will and Testament revoking and anulling all former wills...
