Last Will and Testament of JAMES BOARD of Baltimore County, Dated 3 Feb 1762, Proved 14 Feb 1763
In the Name of God Amen I James Board of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Planter being sick and weak in Body but of sound mind memory and Understanding do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following
First of all I Give and bequeath unto my Son James Board three feather beds and furniture, six pewter basons, two pewter dishes, seven pewter plates, one iron five gallon pot one brindle and white cow big with calf, one two year old Heifer, one Mare, and her year old colt and one small gun to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Also I Give and bequeath unto my Son Francis Board two cows and one old gun to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint the said Francis Board Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me before made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this twenty third day of February In the Year of our 1762.
Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the above named James Board as and for his last Will and Testament
in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the said
Testator and in the presence of each other.

February 14th 1763 John Walters and Joseph Presbury two of the subscribing witnesses to the within will
being duly and solemnly sworne on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God Depose and say that they saw the
Testator James Board sign the within Will and heard him publishe and declare the same to be his last will and Testament
that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of both their apprehensions of sound and disposing mind and
memory that they subscribed their respective names as witnesses to the said will in the presence of the said
Testator at his request.
