Va. planter for valuable good cause to me thereunto me moving do make

MEMORANDUM Mary Taylor W/o Richard Taylor, Jr living in Stafford Co Va

On the
4th of Nov. came James Tracey & John Cross two of the evidences to the
within poa and made oath that they saw Richard Taylor sign the poa.
On 4 Nov 1724 came George Hitchcock one of the evidences of the
power of attorney and made oath before us that he saw Mary Taylor sign
the within Power of Atty and also saw Joseph Taylor sign the same as one
evidence.
This indenture the (blank) Day of (blank) 1721 between Richard Taylor
Junr of Baltimore Co Md, planter of the one part and William Lyale of Co
afsd plantor of the other part.

consideration of 2500 lbs tob to him already in hand paid by William
Lyale whosowith the sd Richard Taylor doth ack himself to be satisfied &
paid of every part & parcel to discharge the sd William Lyale forever by
these presents do sell all that pareele of land called Stones Delight
lying in sd Co in Little Brittain Ridge Beg. at a oak a boundary of a
tract of land formerly surveynd for Job Cross of sd Co and two bounded
by tree standing triangle high 4 perches and on the called the Western
Run, a branch of the Herring Runldeseending into ? Back river & running
thence ....... to the beginning trees containing & laid out for 100a.

MEMORANDUM On 4 Nov 1724 came Richard Taylor, Sr & ack the within
mentioned land and premises to be the right title to William Lyale his
heirs & assigns foreever Richard Taylor and Mary h/w the & delivery
before us two of his majesties justices for Baltimore Co
NOTE by
ARB: at the top of pg 400 is the ending of a deed written by James Tracy
to George Hitchcock for sale of land Will Grafton & Will Amos.
