ZIMMERMANJohn1 Aug 18986 Aug 1898ZIMMERMAN, John Mr. John Zimmerman, florist of Fullerton, died suddenly Monday last. He was in a field sowing kale seed when the thunder storm came up. His wife warned him to come indoors, but he persisted in working in the storm in spite of her entreaties, replying, jocularly, that there was nobody could hurt him. After the storm subsided his dead body was found in the field, and from the marks on it, it looked as though he had been killed by lightning.

ZINKMrs George10 Sept 1898ZINK, Mrs. George The funeral of Mrs. George Zink on Friday last was very largely attended at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Texas, and at the place of interment at Sherwood Protestant Episcopal Church, of this place. Rev. R. C. Campbell officiated at both places. The pallbearers were Messrs. Conrad, Lewis, Leopold, John and Frederick Zink and George B. Kenney. Wm. C. Brooks was funeral director. Mr. George Zink, her husband, and three children were ill at the time. He did not know of the death of his wife. Since the funeral his and the children's improvement has been such that the sad news has been made known. Mrs. Zink was well known as a true wife and mother. Her disposition was helpful to those about her and her association was pleasant. We sorrow deeply with the bereaved.
