M. O'Keefe, who spoke in feeling terms of the life and character of the deceased. The pall-bearers were Messrs. John C. Schmidt, John Dohoney, Gilbert Hughes, Theodore Boyd, Wm. Creghan and William Shades. Mr. John Fahey, of Baltimore, had charge of the funeral arrangements. For many years Mr. O'Brien had been in the employ of the Northern Central Railroad Company at Sherwood. He had been blind for nearly twelve years. Offutt, the well known insurance agent of Towson, died Tuesday morning at the Maryland University Hospital, Baltimore, where she had been taken on Friday before to undergo an operation. After passing through the operation all right apparently, she soon began to sink and continued to do so until she died of heart failure. She had had two operations performed for tumor of the stomach, about two years ago, at the Maryland General Hospital. She never, however, recovered fully, and it was recently determined that she must have another operation performed. Mrs. Offutt leaves no children. Mr. Offutt has one child by his first wife, who was a Miss Mamie Kemp. Mr. Offutt's second wife was a daughter of Mrs. Louisa A. and the late John P. Ringgold, who formerly lived at Govanstown, and was a sister of Mr. John J. Ringgold. She had been married about nine years. Mrs. Bessie Sappington, wife of Dr. P.F.
