NANTZHannah A.July 189520 July 1895NANTZ, Hannah A. Mr. William H. Buck, Jr., was called to Baltimore to act as pallbearer at the burial of the late Miss Hannah A. Nantz, sister of his uncle, the late John Nantz. The deceased lived at Lansdowne and was eighty-two years of age. She bore a character that drew everyone to her in affection. She loved her church - the Episcopal- and yet was a shining lit for good. The funeral took place on Tuesday. With her death the name Nantz in this county becomes extinct. She was of French descent and her people were descendants of the Huguenots.

illness of only a few hours. Mr. Nash was a prominent citizen and farmer. His widow was a Miss Cole, who, with the following children survives: Mrs. Cora Price and Walter Nash, residing at home; Mrs. Mary Upperco and Charles, George and Joseph Nash, all of this county. The funeral took place at Grace M.E. Church Thursday (May 24, 1900) afternoon. Rev. Mr. Burtner officiated, and one son-in-law and five sons of the deceased acted as pall-bearers. They were, Benjamin, George A., Charles M., Joseph E. and J.W. Nash, and J.W. Price. Honorary ball-bearers were, J.A. Cole, Joshua Tracey, J.M. Palmer and Ephraim Martin.
