3. John MYLES was born in 1657 in Anne Arundel County, MD. (or England) He died in 1732 in Maryland. John Miles Sr. witnessed, by his mark, a deed of 5 Dec 1704 in Baltimore Co. from John Cook to John Cord.

On 18 March 1707 John Miles, planter of Baltimore Co., grantor of 200 acres to Archibald Yuckhamman on an eastern branch of Bush River.

Mary BECKWITH (daughter of George BECKWITH and Frances HARVEY) was born in 1659. She died on 20 Jul 1732 in Baltimore County, MD. John MYLES and Mary BECKWITH had the following children:

FOURTH GENERATION

4. John MILES, Jr. was born in 1677. He died in 1731. On 2 March 1708 a John Miles, Carpenter of Baltimore Co conveyed to Gregory Farmer 50 acres on Deer Creek, /s/ John Miles. On 2 June 1718 Thomas and John Miles (by signatures) witnessed two deeds, involving Samuel & Jane Hughes and Samuel Fowler. On 2 Nov 17043 John Miles, Carpenter of Baltimore conveyed to Bennett Chad 200 acres. In a deed dated 3 March 1713, John & Mary Miles, Carpenter of Baltimore, conveyed 100 acres to Thomas Cullen. There are two deeds from John and Mary Miles to Thomas Litton for 62 acres in consideration of "for Love and Affection" dated 15 Sept 1716 witnessed by Thomas Miles, Sarah (x) Litton, and Robert (x) Voles.

He was married to Mary PECKETT GOUGH (daughter of William PECKETT and Eliza HEATCOTE) by 1713. John MILES, JR. and Mary PECKETT GOUGH had the following children:

FIFTH GENERATION

5. Thomas MILES (1) was born in 1690 in Baltimore County, MD. He died on 12 Aug 1766 in Orange County, NC.

John Johns, later Bishop of Virginia at Christ Church Parish, Cahse & St. Paul St., (P-E), Balto. Sarah Ann BRISCOE was born on 24 Feb 1812. She died on 27 Nov 1875 in Baltimore, MD. She was married to Lt. Laurens Wilbrant O'BANNON (son of Lewis O'BANNON and Cynthia Overstreet CAUSEY) on 8 Apr 1856 in Ft. Filmore, New Mexico. Lt.
