settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be the
better prepared to leave this world when it
shall please God to call me hence, do there
fore make and publish this my last will
and testament in manner and form follow

Signed, Sealed published and
declared by the testator Richard

Then came Wm
Jones one of the subscribing witnesses to the
aforegoing last will and testament of Rich-
-ard Watts, late deceased of Anne Arundel
County and made oath on the Holy Evangely
of Almighty God that he did see the testator
Richard Watts sign and seal this will that he
heard him publicly pronounce and declare the
same to be his last will and testament - that at
the time of his so doing, he was to the best of
his apprehension of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding, that he together with
James Rawlings and M.S.M. Gantt, the other sub
scribing witnesses respectively subscribed their
names as witnesses to this will at the request
& in the presence of the testator and all in the pres
ence of each other
