In the name of God Amen I Sele Tucker of the Swamp in Ann Arundel County in the State of Maryland Planter Being Sick and weak of Body, but of Sound mind, memory and uderstanding; Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following ~
My Body being decently Inter'd And all my just Debts paid I Give and Bequeath unto my beloved wife Rebecca Tucker during her Widowhood the whole of my lands and Tenements for her own use, and afterwards to my Son Thomas his Heirs, and Assigns forever ~
I Give and bequeath unto my said wife Rebecca during her Widowhood the whole of my Personal Estate for her own Use, and afterwards to be equally divided among my Younger Children Vizt.
Unto my Sons James Sele John William and Richard and unto my Daughters Elizabeth Mary Ann Rebecca and Margaret for their own use and their Heirs forever excluding my Son Thomas from any Part of my Personal Estate I will and desire if my Son Thomas be inclinable to dispose of my Lands & Tenements in Order to purchase another Settlement during the Widowhood of his Mother that with her consent, he may so act allowing her the same Liberty uninterrupted as she is priviledged by me
Lastly I constitute and Appoint my beloved Wife Rebecca Tucker Sole Executrix of this My Last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills and declare this to be my Last Will & Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this twenty first day of January One Thousand seven hundred and Eighty two

On the back of the aforegoing Will was the following endorsement to wit
June the 4th 1783 ~ Then came Richard Bryant & Matthew Beard two of the subscribing
Evidences to the aforegoing Will and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God
that they did see the Testator Sele Tucker sign and this Will and that they heard him
publish and declare the same to be his Last Will and Testament and that at the time of
his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound and disposing mind Memory
and understanding and that they together with J Hamelton and Thomas Tucker respectively
subscribed their names as Witnesses to this Will in the presence and at the request of
the Testator and in the presence of each other
