This deed made this First day of July in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty
three by us Brice B Brewer and Adeline his wife, Jackson Brewer and Anne M his
wife, Augustus Brewer and Laura his wife, Samuel Johns and Emily F. his wife,
Jacob D Karch and Sarah J. his wife and Brice B. Sewell and William F. Williams.
Witnesseth: Whereas Brice B. Brewer Senior, Father of Brice B, Richard H,
Jackson and Augustus Brewer and Grandfather of the other grantors, conveyed to
his six children by deed dated 23rd February 1843 and recorded in Liber W.T.G.
No 26 folio 482 etc, a parcel of ground lying in the city of Annapolis, State of
Maryland, which had been conveyed to him by Richard I. Jones by deed dated 7th
January 1826 and recorded in Liber W. T. G. No 11 folio 472 etc. And whereas the
said parcel of ground was divided by John Duvall surveyor on the 24th September
1846 into six separate lots and assigned respectively to his six children by the
said Brice B. Brewer Senior as follows to wit: Lot No 1 assigned to Ellen
Sewell; Lot No 2 to Brice B. Brewer, Lot No 3 to Richard H. Brewer, Lot No 4 to
Jackson Brewer, Lot No 5 to Anna Maria Brewer, Lot No 6 to Augustus Brewer. And
whereas we the grantors hereto being desirous to convey to the said Richard H.
Brewer any and all our right, title interest or Estate to said Lot No 3 so
assigned to the said Richard H. Brewer, do execute these presents.
Now
this Deed witnesseth that in consideration of the premises and of the sum of
Five dollars to me paid, we the said Brice B. Brewer and Adeline Brewer, Jackson
Brewer and Anne M Brewer, Samuel Johns and Emily F Johns, Jacob D. Karch and
Sarah J. Karch, Brice B. Sewell and William F. Williams, (the said Emily F.
Johns, Sarah J. Karch and Brice B. Sewell being children of the said Ellen
Sewell deceased), and the said William F. Williams being the only child of Anna
Maria Williams formerly Brewer deceased) do grant unto the said Richard H.
Brewer all our right, title, interest and estate both at Law and in Equity in
and to the aforesaid lot or part of lot of ground in the City of Annapolis and
described as follows: To Wit, Beginning for Lot No 3, it being part of Lot No 36
as marked and numbered on the plot of the City of Annapolis beginning for the
same at a post on the west line of Market Street and at the end of the first
line of Lot No 2 and running from the said post with the line of Market Street
South forth two degrees west eighty seven feet to a post in said line thence
North forty nine degrees thirty minutes west Two hundred seventy one feet and
six inches to a post thence North forty three degrees East eighty nine feet to a
post at the end of the second line of Lot No. 2 thence with said line reverse
South forty nine degrees thirty minutes East Two hundred sixty nine feet and six
inches to the beginning post containing Twenty three thousand seven hundred and
twenty nine square feet of ground.
To Have and to Hold the same with all
the appertenances belonging to the said Richard H. Brewer his heirs and assigns
forever.

and Anne Brewer his wife, Augustus Brewer and Laura Brewer his wife and did each
acknowledge the foregoing deed to be their respective act.
