TAYLOR-TALLEY

Mr. Glenn Taylor of Island, Ky.,  and Miss Mary Lee Talley of Providence,
were married at the home of Rev. Benjamin Connaway Friday afternoon, Rev.
Connaway performing the ceremony. The bride is the attractive daughter of 
Rev. R.L. Talley, pastor of the local Methodist church. She is a graduate of 
the Providence High School class of 1929. The groom is a son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Henry Taylor of Island, Ky., and a highly esteemed young man.
The newly weds left Sat. morning for Princeton where the bride's father is
attending Methodist conference.  Twice-a-week Providence Enterprise;

LOVE-RAIKES

Miss Hazel Love, attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Love of Clay
and Dr. James Raikes of Covington, Ky. were united in marriage at Princeton
Sat. by Rev. W.L. Baker, pastor of the Clay Methodist church. The bride is a 
very charming young lady and several parties have been given in her honor 
during the past few weeks by her Clay friends. The groom is a popular 
dentist of Covington where the happy couple will make their home.

Jack Brashear of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Ilyne Parker were united in marriage 
Friday morning at Dixon. The bride is the beautiful and attractive daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Parker, who reside on Union street. The groom is a son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Brashear and is a worthy young man. The happy couple

Announcement has received in this city of the marriage of Mr. Angus Wilson
of Burlington, Iowa , to Miss Hazel Harding of Bay City, Wis . The wedding
took place at Gailsburg, ILL. Sat. Oct. 12. Mr. Wilson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. 
I.N. Wilson, prominent people who reside on rural route No. 2 near this city. 
Mr. Wilson is a worthy and highly esteemed young man and numbers his 
friends in Providence and Webster county by his acquaintances. He has 
been residing in Burlington four years, when he holds a lucrative position

Mr. Falcom Edwards, formerly of this city but now of Louisville, Ky., and
Miss Vilma Louise Blaid were married Sat. Oct. 19, by Rev. J.S. Sanders,
pastor of the Lutheran church in that city. Mr. Edwards is a son of Mrs. Mary 
McMullen and holds a government position in Louisville, Ky.

Mr. Chet Bowker of Pontiac, Mich., and Miss Alpha Wilson, of Providence
were married at Madisonville Sat. Oct. 19. The bride is the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Jas E. Wilson, who reside near this city and is very popular and 
attractive young lady.  Mr Bowker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bowker
who live in Pontiac, Mich., where he holds a lucrative position. Mr. and Mrs. 
Bowker will make their home at Pontiac, Mich.

of St. Louis, Mo., to Mr. Charles Culberson of Stanhope, Iowa, that was
solemnized Wed. Oct, 23, at St. Louis.  Mrs. Culberson is the attractive 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Cole of St. Louis and a sister of Mr. Porter 
Cole of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Culberson will make their home in Stanhope,
