Guess and Miss Mary Clayton; Jesse Davis and Miss. Ruth Adcock; C.E. Rawhoof and Miss. Ettie Goben. Guess is a native of Detroit and Miss Clayton, of Shady Grove, Crittenden county. The marriage ceremony was performed in the clerk's office in Dixon, by Judge A.L. Hall. Jesse Davis is from Mortons Gap and Miss. Adcock from Earlington, They were married in the clerk's office by Judge A.L. Hall. C. E. Rawhoof and Miss Goben are from this place and were married by Judge A.L. Hall. Twice-a-week Providence Enterprise; Friday Nov. 8, 1929 BEST-FREEMAN Miss Margurice Best and Mr. Ewel Freeman were united in marriage Nov. 2. The Wedding took place at the home of the bride's mother on Sheridan Road, Chicago. Miss Hazel Winchester was bridesmaid and Frank Freeman, younger brother of the groom served as best man. Following a six o'clock dinner at the home of the bride's mother the pair were given a reception at the Senate Hotel, with twenty-six of their friends present. Mrs. Freeman was reared in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she graduated from high school with honors last June. Mr. Freeman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Freeman, prominent farmer of near town. He has been located in Chicago for the past three years, where he holds a lucrative position. His many friends here wish him much happiness and continued success. The happy couple have taken an apartment at 4308 Sheridan Road, Chicago. Ruby Edwards, all of near Dixon, were united in marriage at a double wedding by Judge A.L. Hall at his home in Dixon Tuesday. The brides are sisters and both couple are well known in the Carlo country.
