Additional children of Alas Chandler and Harriett Parker were: 1) Wesley Chandler, born 1837; 2) Elizabeth Chandler; 3) George W. Chandler, born 1840; and 4) William T. Chandler, born 1863. This data from: History of the Tapp Family by Liles, Fulcher, Tapp 1977. Obviously some of the data from History of the Tapp Family is incorrect as has been pointed out by Charles Schriver . Atlas Chandler, age 55 and his wife Hariet, 52, both born NC, are listed in the 1870 Webster census, along with children Sarah, 18, Eli J., 17, Joanah, 14, Isabelah, 12, and William T., 7. Additionally, Charles Schriver states Atlas Chandler was the son of John B. Chandler and Rebecca McVey, adding that Rebecca did divorce John Chandler and marry William Winstead at a later date. |

Additional children of James Hicks and Anna Peed were: 1) Candice Hicks married a Barnes; 2) Jefferson Hicks; and 3) Roseanah Jane Hicks, born 22 May 1844 NC, died 06 Jun 1897, married Alexander Gray Brown 26 Sep1862. They are the great-grandparents of John Brown. Alexander was the son of William Brown and Mary Morrison Cummings. Mary is listed in household 359/355 of this census.
