M. M. Whitledge was the son of Benjamin Franklin Whitledge and Nancy Harriet Higginson. He married 1) Martha Ann Sigler 08 Nov 1869 in Webster County KY and 2) Yula J. Moore 1 Oct 1874 in Webster County KY.
M. M. Whitledge and wife Yula are found in the 1880 Stoddard County MO census, living in Castor Twp.
Their son James Monroe Whitledge, b 1877, is also buried at Todd Cemetery with his wife Sidney Ann Allen.
