Netta has no concrete information about J.P. Todd and his wife Mariah C. Todd. However, we have scoured Webster County KY records and found the marriage of a James P. Todd to Catherine McCoy 24 March 1880 (Bk 10, p 188).

The 1900 Webster County census of Dixon, Dist. 89, lists a J. Pow(unreadable) Todd, a farmer, b Oct 1857, age 42, marr 20 years and his wife Katherine, b May 1857, age 43, marr 20 years, who has had 6 children, all living. Both J.P. and Katherine and their parents were born in Kentucky. The six children living with them are: Lenora B., 16; Rosella, 14; J. Henry, 13; Lela, 7; Finis, 4; and Odus, 9/12.

We would welcome more information about this family. We believe James P. Todd was the son of Henry Todd and Catharine Lynn, who are also buried at this cemetery and are listed in the 1860 Webster County census. Mariah C. McCoy, age 4, is listed in the 1860 Webster County census with her parents..
