Cassander "Cassie" Crowley was the daughter of William Crowley and Nancy Ann Oglesby and the granddaughter of William Madison Crowley and Elizabeth Crowley and the great-granddaughter of William Crowley and Mary "Polly" Elder Crews Crowley.

Cassie Crowley married Herman L. Chapman 18 Dec 1893 Webster County and they become the parents of eight children. Herman Chapman's Henderson County death record of 1926 names his parents as Lee Chapman and Phelia Paris.
