Williamson Crews was the son of Joseph Crews and Mary "Polly" Elder, who were married 18 June 1792 in Campbell Co VA.

After the death of Joseph Crews, Mary Elder Crews married William Crowley. The combined Crews/Crowley family came to Henderson Co KY before 1815.

Williamson Crews married Margery Marks and they became the parents of fourteen children, born between 1813 and 1843.

Williamson and Margery Marks Crews died within one week of each other in 1880, after being married for over 65 years. Margery Crews (Sep 1795 Loudoun Co VA-4 Apr 1880) is reported to have been buried in this cemetery but Mary Sharp did not find her stone on this visit.
