Report of the Sale of John Redmon's Slaves Submitted by Keith Redmon

In obidience of an order directed to me as administrator of John Redman do to whom to Public Sale certain negroes mentioned in said order belonging to the said estate of John Redmon after advertising the same did cause the same to be had of a public auction when Yancy B. Davis became the highest bidder for negro woman Diana the sum of $796.00, Sterling Adams for Stephen at $520.00 Nathan Chaffer for Lucy at $1000.00 Ira E Gentry for Mariah at $791.00 Joseph Fulp for Celiah at $1030.00 Maheny total - $4137.00 Sold on a credit of said month all of which is respectfully submitted.
