Here are a few corrections and additions to the web site:
The spelling of the name in Germany was LUBBAS. The village of Klein Gansen belonged to the county of Stolp (Kreis Stolp). I don’t know, what could be meant with “Dreiss Norssin”. There was a village of “Gross Nossin”, but this was about ten miles away from Klein Gansen.
August LUBBAS’ profession was daily wageworker “Tageloehner”. The “Tageloehner” were working at the manor farm of the village.
Helene FLICK: There was Friedrichsthal, a part of Klein Gansen; I think Helene was born there. The FLICK name was common in Friedrichsthal, PFLUECK I have never seen.
Johanna MILLER: She was born in Gallensow, a village near Klein Gansen. Her German surname was MÜLLER (MUELLER).
Here you will find some information about the region, unfortunately mostly in German, but the article “Emigration” is in English. http://www.hinterpommern-info.de The “Wasser-Kraftwerk Glambocksee” is a hydropower station near Klein Gansen, built about 1910.
I add map and two old postcards of Klein Gansen.
Many of these building, below, if not all, date back well before most immigrations to North America.
