The following pages are pictures and captions taken from a brochure distributed by the Burton D. Hurd Land Company to entice residents of Red Oak, Iowa and surrounding areas to visit, buy property and relocate in Collegeport, Texas. The brochure contained original photographs which were pasted two to a page along with a printed caption which was pasted below each picture. Including the cover, there were twelve pages and the brochure contained 20 pictures along with one loose picture tucked inside. The pictures appear here in the order they were placed in the brochure. Page 6 includes supporting information about the trip.
