  Jim Henry Joyce 1879 - 1953 Myrtle R. Joyce 1892 - 1974 The Dallas Morning News March 15, 1953 Special to the News Tom Bean, Texas, March 14 - Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Cedar Church for J.H. Joyce, 77, retired Grayson County farmer, who died Friday at his home. Burial was in Cedar Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. E.B. Simpson and Mrs. W.C. Lewis, both of Dallas, and Mrs. JOhn Avergean of Pennsylvanis; one stepson, J.W. James of Dallas; three brothers; one sister; 9 grandchildren. The cause of his death was apoplexy; he had had a stroke 18 months before his death. Mr. Joyce was born in North Carolina, son of Nick Joyce, born in North Carolina.
