June 18, 1926 pg 3 Carter - Sherman, Texas, June 17 - The body of Miss Laura Carter, who died Sunday evening at Gage, Oklahoma, arrived in Sherman Tuesday night. Funeral services were held from the home of her sister, Mrs. R.H. Martin, seven miles east of Sherman, Wednesday. Burial was in the Cedar Cemetery. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters - John Carter, Okemah, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mae Woods, Tupelo, Oklahoma; and Mrs. R. H. Martin, Sherman.
