Carter - Sherman, Texas, June 17 - The body of Miss Laura Carter, who died Sunday evening at Gage, Oklahoma, arrived in Sherman Tuesday night. Funeral services were held from the home of her sister, Mrs. R.H. Martin, seven miles east of Sherman, Wednesday. Burial was in the Cedar Cemetery.
She is survived by the following brothers and sisters - John Carter, Okemah, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mae Woods, Tupelo, Oklahoma; and Mrs. R. H. Martin, Sherman.

Carter - Sherman, Texas, June 18 - Funeral services for Miss Laura B. Carter, who died at Gage, Oklahoma Sunday evening, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Cedar Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Harold Schmitner of this city. Burial was in the Cedar Cemetery. Miss Carter was born in Tennessee.
