A.G. Holcomb, age 75, died at his home at Roswell, New Mexico, Tuesday. The body was shipped here for burial, arriving at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon (Thursday) and at press hour the funeral was being conducted by Rev. W.J. Epting and Rev. J.F. Fender at the Baptist church. Interment was made at the city cemetery.
Mr. Holcomb lived at Nobility for 30 years and was one of the leading citizens of that section up to the time he moved to Roswell about 10 years ago. He was well known to the older citizens of this place and had numerous friends in this section who will regret to learn of his death.
Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife and several children.  R.L. Holcomb of this city is one of the surviving children.

Burial rites for Mrs. Margaret E.  Holcomb, 86 years old, were held at the City Cemetery, Whitewright, at one o'clock Monday afternoon, followin funeral services at 10 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, Greenville, conducted by Rev. A.W. Reaves, pastor.
Mrs. Holcomb died at 7:10 o'clock Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Miss Beulah Holcomb, 2615 Wesley street, Greenville.  She had been an invalid for several years and had been seriously ill for several weeks.
She was born in North Carolina on February 24, 1847, and moved with her parents to Georgia at the age of four years.  She was married to A.G. Holcomb in the spring of 1886 at Blue Springs, Georgia, and came to Texas in 1888, settling at Nobility, southeast of Whitewright, where she resided for many years.  Her husband died March 2, 1920.  She had been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood.
Seven children survive: J.C.Holcomb, Greenville; R.L. Holcomb, Whitewright; E.E. Holcomb, Dallas; Mrs. F.M. Harris, Whitesboro; Miss Beulah Holcomb, Greenville; Mrs. O.M. Julien, Howe; and Mrs. E.H. Cameron, Pile.
