Funeral services for Mrs. R.L. Holcomb, 63, who died at her home here at 4 a.m. Tuesday, are to be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. W.J. Epting of Celina, former Whitewright pastor.  Assisting in the services will be Rev. J.A. Henderson of Pilot Grove and Rev. G.C. Ivins of Texarkana.  Interment will be in the City cemtery, directed by Waldo Funeral Home.
Pallbearers announced are Martin Belew, Guy Hamilton, Roy Yowell, J.E. Mangrum, C.H. Stuteville, and L.P. Sears.
Funeral services were delayed until Friday to await the arrival of Mrs. Holcomb's daughter, Mrs. Nadine Kight, who was visiting in Mexico City.  She is expected to arrive tonight.
Mrs. Holcomb was born October 12, 1874 at Nobility, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Barnhill.  She was married to Mr. Holcomb in 1895, and they resided in the Nobility community until they moved to Whitewright some 25 years ago.  She had been a member of the Baptist Church many years.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Kight and Miss Mildred Holcomb of Whitewright; three sons, Bryan Holcomb of Plano, John Holcomb of Sherman, and Roger Holcomb of Whitewright; a granddaughter Barbara Lee Kight of Whitewright; three sisters, Mrs. H.A. Langdon of Nobility, Mrs. Annie McClure of McKinney, and Mrs. Sallie McClure of Westminster; and a brother, Earl Barnhill of Oklahoma City.

FUNERAL TODAY FOR ROBERT LEE HOLCOMB
Funeral services are to be held at 4 p.m. today at the Baptist Church for Robert Lee Holcomb, 70, who died at 5 a.m. Wednesday at his home here.  Rev. E.P. Wootten, pastor, and Rev. J.L. Truett, retired Baptist minister, will conduct the services.  Burial at City Cemetery will be under the direction of Earnheart.  Pallbearers named are J.E. Mangrum, Guy Hamilton. T.J. Lilley, T.E. Barbee, Roy Yowell, and W.H. Horton.
Mr. Holcomb was born February 3, 1871, at Blue Springs, Georgia, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Holcomb, and came to Texas 54 years ago.  He was married to Miss Cay [sic] Barnhill in 1895.  Mrs. Holcomb died several years ago.  His parents settled at Nobility, Fannin county, where he resided a number of years.  He moved from Nobility to Sherman, where he was in business several years.  He came to Whitewright 30 years ago and invested in city property and in farm lands.  He built the buildings occupied by the post office and the Community Public Service Company store.  He was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are five children: Mrs. Nadine Kight of Aspermont, Miss Mildred Holcomb and Roger Holcomb of Whitewright, Bryan Holcomb of Plano, and John Holcomb of Corsicana; four sisters, Mrs. [sic] Buelah Holcomb of Roswell, New Mexico, Mrs. O.M. Julian of Howe, Mrs. Jack Harris of Whitesboro, and Mrs. Eugene Cambron of Pike; a brother, Edward E. Holcomb of Memphis, Tennessee; and two grandchildren.

Miss Beulah Holcomb of Greenville, sister of the late Lee Holcomb of Whitewright, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Greenville.  Burial will be in the City Cemetery in Whitewright later in the afternoon, probably around 4 o'clock.

Edward Eugene Holcomb, 69, brother of the late Lee Holcomb of Whitewright, died at 3 p.m. Monday in Greenville.  Funeral services were held at the City Cemetery, Whitewright, at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Holcomb was born on July 27, 1887 at Blue Springs, Georgia.  He came to Texas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Holcomb, who located in the Noblility community, west of Leonard.  He later resided in Tennessee and Arkansas, moving to this city in January 1950.
Surviving are one son, E.E. Holcomb, Jr., Los Alamos, New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Estelle Cambron, Leonard, and Miss Beulah Holcomb, Greenville; one grandson, E.E. Holcomb, III, and other relatives.
