 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, August 1, 1929 pg. 3 William M. Davis, 66, died at his home, 3-1/2 miles southwest of town, Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The funeral and burial services were held Friday afternoon at the Vittitoe Cemetery and were conducted by Rev. C. Chumbley of Howe. The deceased was born in Kentucky, October 20, 1863.
