On Friday, August 7, 2020 the Lord called Gavin John Richardson, 17, to his heavenly home.
Gavin John Richardson came to us on July 3, 2003.  He was loved from the moment of his birth by his loving family.  Gavin attended Howe ISD from elementary to high school and then transitioned to home school in the 10th grade.  Gavin loved life.  He had a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor.  He always made people laugh and was so kind to everyone he met.  He loved his family, friends and everyone who met him.
Gavin loved many things in his life.  He started playing video games at 2 years old with his uncle Andy and never stopped.  He absolutely loved gaming with his friends and playing GTA with his sister, Haley.  He loved being with his new baby brother, Tristan, and spending time with him.  He enjoyed basketball and his favorite player was Lebron James.  He liked being outdoors, target practice, learning about guns, listening to music, and hanging out with his friends.
Every day his focus was Lindsey Hymel, the love of his life and the mother of their daughter, Lyla Jade Richardson.  He was a loving, kind and patient father and was so proud to be a dad and was always there for his baby girl.
Gavin loved Christmas time and Jesus.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviou at Covenant Church in McKinney.
Although passing leaves a void in all of our lives, he will live on in our hearts.  Gavin leaves behind his beloved family: mother, Stephanie Richardson of Howe, Texas; sister, Hayley Richardson; brother, Tristan Roberts; daughter, Lyla Jade Richardson and her mother, Lindsey Hymel; grandparents, Steve and Rebecca Roberts; aunt, Melinda Roberts; uncles Andy Roberts, Jon Roberts; and many friends.
Graveside service for Gavin was held Wednesday afternoon, August 12, 2020 at Vittitoe Cemetery with Pastor Roger Speers officiating in Whitewright, Texas.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
