 The Whitewright Sun Friday, November 23, 1917 pg. 4 Landrum Marshall, fifteen years of age and son of J.T. Marshall who resides near the Blanton store south of town, died about one o'clock last Sunday afternoon. The young man had recently spent a while up on Red River and came home ill with typhoid fever, death resulted from a hemorrhage incident to that malady.
