Mrs Marguerite Roberts Vittitoe, of Kentuckytown community, died Wednesday morning.  She suffered a stroke of paralysis about twelve years ago and since that time she had been an invalid.  She had been seriously ill for some time and her death was not unexpected to her relatives and friends.
Mrs. Vittitoe was born in Marshall county, Tennessee, October 13, 1846.  She moved to Texas with her parents in early womanhood, and had lived in this section for more than forty years.  She was married  to Quincy Vittitoe in 1868.  Mrs. Vittitoe had been a member of the Presbyterian Church since the age of thirteen, and was an earnest worker in the church until she became an invalid.  She was a good neighbor and friend and was always glad to do whatever she could for those who needed assistance..
She is survived by four children, T.F., Scott, and Sam Vittitoe, and Mrs. Anna Ross, and one brother, J.T. Roberts of this city.
Funeral services were held at Vittitoe Cemetery Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.F. Fender, assisted by Rev. I.E. Teague and Rev. O.B. Nelson.
