Mary Maurine Perdue, age 87 of McKinney, Texas passed away January 4, 2015 in Richardson, Texas. She was born March 22, 1927 in Loraine, Texas to Charles Henderson and Mary Florence (Finley) Rutledge. Maurine was later adopted by James Palmour. She married Jack Perdue on December 22, 1948 in Lubbock, Texas. Maurine worked as a Registered Nurse - Director of Nursing for Southwest Osteopathic Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. She was an Army Cadet in nursing school during World War II. Maurine is known as Gigi to her loving grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, James (Jack) Granville Perdue of Denison, Texas and Dianne Perdue of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, Michael Heggie, David Heggie, Steven Perdue, Stephaine Eudy, Joshua Mayes and Tiffany Estep, twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Tarlton Rutledge of Texarkana, Arkansas.
Maurine was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Lee (Jack) Perdue; daughter, Pamela Leigh; brother, Jack Palmour; parents, Charles Rutledge, and Mary and James Palmour.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Whitewright Chapel in Whitewright, Texas. Interment will follow at Vittitoe Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Whitewright Funeral Home in Whitewright, Texas.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Pamela Leigh, 64, of Chesapeake died Wednesday, Decenber 10, 2014, in Virginia Beach.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Whitewright Chapel in Whitewright, Texas. Burial will follow in Vittitoe Cemetery in Kentuckytown, Texas.
Ms. Leigh was born March 22, 1950, in Lubbock, Texas, to Jack and Maurine Perdue. She worked as a secretary for Trinity Insurance, becoming a claims adjuster, and later for Aetna Insurance.
Survivors include two sons, David Howard Heggie and Michael Ray Heggie; two grandchildren; a sister, Dianne Perdue of Austin, Texas; and a brother, James Perdue of Denison, Texas.
