Darwin Funeral services for William Andrew Darwin, 62, who died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Terrell, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.P. Wootten. Active pallbearers were Jess Blanks, C.W. Pope, Guy Hamilton, D. Blanks, D.E. McCoy and J.P. Owenby. Interment was at Vittitoe Cemetery, under the direction of Glen Earnheart. Mr. Dawin was born January 1, 1882, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Darwin, pioneer citizens of the community southwest of Whitewright. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, J.P. and L.H. Darwin and Mrs. W.W. McFarland of Whitewright, and Mrs. W.L. Robbins of Austin.
