Whitewright Sun Mrs. McFarland Succumbs Here Funeral services were held Wednesday at Earnheart Funeral Home for Mrs. William W. McFarland, 91, who passed away at the Whitewright Nursing Home Monday. Conducting services were Rev. Bob Bryan, pastor of the Whitewright First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Vittitoe Cemetery. Sally Darwin McFarland was born March 25, 1883, in Whitewright, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Darwin. She married William W. McFarland Jan. 1, 1907 in Whitewright. He died Sept. 7, 1932. She was a member of the Kentuckytown Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, H.D. McFarland of Grand Prairie, W.W. McFarland, Austin, and one daughter, Mrs. R.H. Deberry of Whitewright....
