MORTUARY
R.A. Jones, 59, Rose Hill farmer fell dead at his home Friday afternoon.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellie Jones; and two sons, F.H. and E.E. Jones
His death occurred unexpectedly as he was carrying a load of wood to his home.
Funeral services were held from the residence Sunday at 2 p.m.  Rev. J.A. Henderson of Little Rock community officiated and R.R. Waldo was the undertaker in charge.  Burial was in Vittitoe Cemetery, south of Kentuckytown.  He was a member of the Baptist Church of Rose Hill.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY FOR HERMAN JONES
Thirty Year Old Man Dies at Home Following Lingering Illness

Herman Jones, 30 years of age, passed away at the family home, south of Tom Bean at 11:30 a.m., following a lingering illness.
Mr. Jones was an ex-soldier.  He spent several months in the State Hospital at Sanitorium Texas, undergoing treatment.
Funeral services were held at the family home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with his pastor, Rev. J.R. Waldrum in charge.  Interment was at Vittitoe Cemetery with W.T. Frances in charge.
Surviving are his wife; and one brother, Edgar Jones.
