Graveside services were held Tuesday in Vittitoe Cemetery for George W. Jenkins, 56, who died of a heart attack at his home southwest of Whitewright Monday.  David G. McNeal, minister of the Church of Christ, conducted the service.  Nephews served as pallbearers.  Burial was in Vittitoe Cemetery, directed by Earnheart.
Mr. Jenkins was born November 17, 1895 at Howe, a son of the late W.L. and Mary Jenkins.  He was a veteran of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his mother; seven brothers, W.H. Jenkins of Carrolton; John J. Jenkins of Whitewright; Pat L. Jenkins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Robert L. Jenkins of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Walter Jenkins of Whitewright; Albert T. Jenkins of Dallas and Clyde Jenkins of Grand Prairie; six sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Stephens and Mrs. Arthur Badgett, both of Whitewright; Mrs. Florence Skipworth of Carrolton; Mrs. Mary Stephenson of Pampa; Mrs. Nell Kincaid of Dallas; and Mrs. Flodell Dickson of Lancaster.
