Preston Birth: February 25, 1911 Anna, Collin County, Texas, USA Death: April 20, 1998 Denison, Grayson County, Texas, USA Edgar was the son of Walter Robert & Linnie Bell (Roberson) Preston. He married Mable Marie Martin, daughter of George Winfield & Jessie Mae (Westdyke) Martin, in Texas on July 10, 1943. On August 7, 1945 they had a daughter whom they named Martin Lockie Carole. Mable born in McKinney, Collin County, Texas and in Denison, Grayson County, Texas on May 25, 1994. Edgar "Fatty" S. Preston died on April 20, 1998 from cancer. He had been in the hospital and nursing home for about one and one-half months before his death. Graveside services were held Tuesday April 21th at 4:30 P.M. Rev. Keith Taylor officiated. Interment was in the Georgetown Cemetery in Denison, Texas. Under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
