  Donna Lea Everett 4 June 1933 - 9 December 1991  The Herald Democrat July 29, 2008 COLBERT, Okla. - Graveside services for Curtis Everett, 76, of Colbert will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Georgetown Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Murphy will officiate, and arrangements are under the direction of Johnson- Moore Funeral Home. He died Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Southern Pointe Nursing Home. Mr. Everett was born May 18, 1932, in El Reno, Okla., the son of Seth Henkley and Lula Jane Wright Everett. He was a graduate of Oklahoma City Central High in Oklahoma City, Okla. He married Donna Lea Fanning on Jan. 19, 1951, in Guthrie, Okla. She died Dec. 9, 1991. On June 20, 1998, he married Helen Richter in Hallsville. He was a construction superintendent and traveled all over building commercial buildings. He was a Baptist and attended Parkside Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Helen Everett of Colbert, Okla.; sons, Terry Everett of Sherman; stepsons, Leonard Richter of Gladewater and John Richter of Southmayd; daughters, Charice Everett of Denison, Debbie Dyer of Bonham and Karen Everett of Denison; sisters, Eva Morris of Arkansas; and grandchildren, Brice, Zachary, Dustin, Miranda, Hayley, Christopher, Austin, Devin, Morgan, Dylan and Will. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Everett; grandchildren, Dawn Kaitlynn Dyer and Derrick Lunn Dyer; two brothers; parents; and wife, Donna. Pallbearers will be Zachary Everett, Dustin Dyer, Brice Cassell, Monty Stephens, Eddie Jackson and Dewayne Dyer. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 -7 p.m. Monday.
