POTTSBORO - Bobby Dophied, 71, passed away Thursday May 10, 2012 at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo. Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Georgetown Cemetery, with Rev. Neil Alexander officiating.
Bobby was born October 11, 1940 in Woodville, Okla. to parents Herman W. and Ethel Johnston Dophied. He was a graduate of Denison High School, and a Baptist by faith. He was a sheet metal worker in construction and a member of the Local 68 in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Mr. Dophied served in the National Guard Co. B 249th Signal Battalion 49th Armored Division for six years.
Honorary pallbearers include, Bill Dophied, Jerry Hensley, Ben Dye, Mike Perdue, Hershel Hogenson, Joel Hogenson, Bob Dye, Terry Dophied, John McCullough and Glenn Whitt.
Mr. Dophied is survived by his sons, Michael Warren Dophied and his wife Glenda of Gunter, Stephen Mark Dophied and his wife Marce of San Angelo; brother, Bill Dophied of Mesquite; grandchildren, Alyssa Dophied, Lane Dophied, Lucas Dophied, Rachel Dophied; close friend, Frances Montemayor of San Antonio; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brother Hurbert Dophied and sister June Brown.

DENISON - Graveside services for Juanita "June" Brown, 72-year-old Denison resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Georgetown Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Monday, July 27, 2009 in Sulphur Springs.

Surviving are her sons, Olen Glenn Whitt Jr. of Kansas, Gary Lynn Whitt of Denison and Donald Ray Brown of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Karen Sue Smith of Denison; brothers, Bobby Dophied of Denison and Bill Dophied of Houston; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
