  Edwin E. Castleberry 22 September 1907 - 12 September 1979 Mary A. Castleberry 13 November 1908 - 25 March 2009 wed 2 February 1939 Star-Telegram March 28, 2009 Mary Alice Spray Castleberry, 100, left this earth Wednesday, March 25, 2009, to go to a better place and to be with her husband of 50 years, Edwin Eugene Castleberry, who preceded her in death. Service: 1 p.m. Sunday in Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel. Family graveside service: 4 p.m. in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorials: If desired, memorials in Mary's name may be made to a charity of choice. Mary was born Nov. 13, 1908, in Macomb, OKla., to J.N. and Lily Mildred Spray and was one of 11 children. Mary graduated from high school and attended business school in Oklahoma. The family lived in Grand Prairie for 30 years before moving to Pottsboro. From there Mary moved to Arlington and later resided at a nursing home until her death. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie and later Georgetown Baptist Church of Pottsboro. Survivors: Sister, Dora Jenny Watson of Matador; children, Joyce Castleberry Lentz, Alton Castleberry, Betty Castleberry, Claude Castleberry, Sidney Castleberry and Debra Rhoades; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
